Mar 17, 2005 - Day 254 in Hong Kong, China

We took a 5 hour bus from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore, where our driver ditched us at the boarder. With a $3 incentive, we convinced another bus driver to take us into the city (hey, money talks!). Having lost some time, we jumped in a cab to the airport and flew off to Hong Kong (and people wonder how we’ve seen so many countries in such a short period of time). We arrived in Hong Kong and took a super fancy train with digital television into Kowloon, one of the many islands that make up Hong Kong. We made our way to the Booth Lodge, run by the Salvation Army. There we were met with hugs by Charles’ sister – Laura! Yippy!
