Day — Charles & Sarah in ! |
|
Apr 5, 2005 - Day 273 in Seoul, South Korea As soon as we made it to the center of Soeul, South Korea I began to get over the day long ferry ride. The first exciting thing that we noticed is that every taxi has a phone number for English interpreters. This was such a relief after China where language barriers are such an obstacle to travel. We used this number in the first cab we entered and the interpreter effectively told the cab how to get to our hotel which was helpful since Charles was determined to say here for their infamous circular beds. Insadong is a street in Soeul which is so cool. Hundreds of artsy shops line this cobble stone street. Street performers are always marching up and down the street providing ample photo opportunities. |
